Praise the Lord had a wonderful night in church last night! It was such a blessing to have James and Abby Young-Baxter with us in church last night! We even had a first time visitor! One of our church ladies brought their niece! Please pray for this young couple as they raise support and please pray for them as they prepare to spread the Gospel in South Sudan Africa.
Things are looking great! The countertops are all put up! The sink has been put back, as well the the stove put in its place! The back of the church has been all painted as well! Things are coming along! Praise the Lord!!
More work has been done. They painted my office today as well as put some more kitchen cabinets up at the church! Praise the Lord for all the progress!
So excited to have James and Abby Young-Baxter with us for our Wednesday night service. They will be presenting their ministry to South Sudan Africa. Please come if you can!
Such a blessing to have Dr. Steve Fisher the voices of praise with us tonight in church! We had 27 in church on a Tuesday night!!! Dr. fisher preached a great message!!! Praise the Lord God is able!!

Praise the Lord we had a wonderful Sunday Morning service this morning! We had 21 in church with 2 first time visitors on Memorial Day Sunday! Praise the Lord!
Really cool post alert! We were given this beautiful bench today! Tracy Mize-Campbell brought it and they told us they had a surprise. This bench was covered by a tarp. They said a gentleman hand painted this himself!!! I love the fact that it has our church name on it! Thanks to all involved in this!!!

All right folks, long post alert!🚨 i have been wanting to let folks know how we have been doing at our church but something was halting that progress. Now that progress is going forward again lol! This year has been a massive learning process for us. God has been mighty to good to us anyhow though! Back in February when it became extremely cold, we had an incident. Pipes froze and then burst and it caused a big mess needless to say. I personally have never had pipes burst on them before so right away this was a new situation for me. I wasn’t aware that you could do this, but the pipes for our plumbing in the back of the church was in the ceiling. The back part of the church was built on later after the front was built. That wasn’t the big deal. The problem was that the plumbing was installed in the ceiling. I was not aware that if plumbing is installed in the ceiling it must be have insulation to keep the heat in. Also the furnace must be working properly to heat keep the pipes warm. On a Sunday morning I was preparing things for Sunday. It was about 8:00, when I received a pounding on my front door. No, not a knock someone was pounding, wailing on my front door. I wondered what on earth someone needed. I answered the door and it was a gentleman from our church His name is Don. “He said preacher, we need to get up to the church and turn the water off quick, there is water everywhere!!” I gave him the keys to the church and told him to turn the water off. I told him I’d be up there in a couple minutes. I drove up to the church it looked fine in the front. Brother Don saw me and said “ Oh the mess is in the back!” So he led me to the back of the church. We walked through the auditorium through the doors to the back. I was horrified, there was water down the entire hallway! As you can see in the pictures there was water down the hallways by the back doors, all the way down the hallway by the side door, into the fellowship hall. Turns out the leak happened in my office just above my desk. My carpet was completely soaked. I just stood there completely dumbfounded that this had happened. We were supposed to have Sunday school at 10 AM so I had to make a decision. I decided to cancel services that day. It was something that I didn’t want to do. I had the water to the entire church turned off and thought it unwise to have service. That Next day I was on the phone all day with our church insurance company filing a claim for the incident. (Praise the Lord for wonderful insurance!) they told us to get the plumbing fixed and get the water dried up. Our Insurance company recommended Service. Master to clean up all the water. They came and brought dehumidifiers and checked every day on the water until it was dry. l got in touch with a great plumber and he educated me about our furnace. He fixed the pipe that burst. He showed me where we have valves to turn just the back of the church’s water off. Then when I met him he asked me about our furnace. He told me he was worried about it. That is another story that also needs addressed. You see I knew we were having trouble with our furnace and I met a guy before and he told me that it was such an old model and he wasn’t sure if he could locate the pieces necessary to fix it. He told me that we would need to look in to possibly getting a brand new model. I was looking into possibly taking out a loan to get a new furnace in the future. I told the plumber all this and he said he knows a guy that can get me the exact part that we need. I told him sign me up brother!! Then this guy had what we needed the very next day! He came and installed it and it fired right up. That guy was a Godsend! so we turned the water back on and went forward. So we were ready to move past all this. I found out that service master had a construction company that would put back all the things that were damaged by water. Drywall, put back cabinets that had to be put aside baseboards and carpet. I called them got I contact with their project manager and we oragnaized a time for him to come out to the church and see all that had to be done. We met after I got off work that Monday. I escorted him into the church and I heard this sound. It got louder the closer we got back. My heart sank as I figured out what it was. Water.... rushing water........ turns out another pipe had burst. I was beside myself, upset, frustrated, angry it was not fun. The project manager was a big help and called service master for me and told them to come out and dry out all the water. They came and did just that, I then called that same plumber and he came out and fixed that pipe as well. He told me that I made a mistake I was not aware of, he told me we can’t turn the water back on until they put insulation up in the ceiling to keep that heat in. Then all of a sudden the furnace stopped working again. Had to call that the HVAC guy to come and check it out. He found out our blower motor had broken. And he told me that we have unique blower motor. It is a two in one blower motor one goes one way and the other fan goes the other direction but they found it and installed it!!!! After that the water was dried up for the second time. We have kept the water off in the back of the church ever since. These are all the pictures of all the damage it’s been a crazy journey but it’s almost done!! The construction has started and I will be posting pictures of the construction as it progress. I was very discouraged when all this happened but the Lord has taught me so much through all of this! If you are going through a rough time may this encourage you! There was something else that happened to me at this time and the devil tried his very best to discourage me. God had another plan though! So when things seem really bad because is in control!! I must mention this as well, all of the water damage and construction is being paid by our insurance!! Praise the Lord!!! I know folks have been praying for us and been wondering how we are doing, so I wanted to praise the Lord for what he has done and brought us through!!!
Excited to celebrate resurrection Sunday tomorrow!!! We will be having a meal after the morning service tomorrow morning!!!!!
This is my piano that I played when I was actively involved in playing the piano. Ed has been at my parents house since I was still living at home. Today my wife and myself and if you teenagers from our church went to go pick it up today. It is now in our church auditorium for our piano player to play. I just think that it is pretty amazing how God works things out sometimes. All I can say is thank you Lord!😇
The new roof looks great and siding looks great!! The new steeple will be going up tomorrow! And then the new gutters will be replaced next week! Praise the Lord!
Construction has started on the church roof!!
I am very excited to Announce this!!! A couple of months ago a hail storm came through our town. It was a pretty bad one too. The hail was golf ball size, it did some decent damage to many houses and even cars in our town. I received a call from a man in our church asking me if I had been up to the church since the storm hit. I told him that I hadn’t, he told me I might want to check it out. So I went to check it out and that hail had punched holes in our siding and I wondered how we could afford to pay for the damage. On that Saturday I received a call from a gentleman asking me if he could call a representative from his company to come and give us a free estimate on our roof. I told him that would be fine. He asked if he could meet me at the church. I told him I could meet him. I met a man from a company called Allstate Exteriors. He told me he took video footage of our roof and wanted to show me his findings. We went in my office at the church and he showed me shingles that had blown off the roof, our vents on our roof were flattened, all kinds of damage. The gentleman told me that God had answered my prayer and that he could work with us to make sure the insurance company gets us a new roof, and new siding by filing a claim. So we filed a claim, and the insurance company sent an adjuster out to the church to assess the damage. Well it has taken over two months but now we have all we need! The church’s insurance has agreed to pay for a new roof, replace all the siding, and pay for a new roof. I will be meeting with the roofing company this week and we will sign a contract saying they will work on the roof, the siding and the steeple, then we will pick out a color, then they will get started on the roof! Then on top of that one day we went to check the church mail one day, there was a letter for the church inside was a check for $500! Well our deductible for the roof was $1,000 but since we have never had a claim they told us it was only $500. I told my parents that, well they told a family in their church that. They had no idea that these folks would write us a check for $500 paying the deductible!!! Praise the Lord!!!! But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in Glory!!!! This is a huge answer to prayer!!! The roof has not been replaced in the 20 years the church has been here!!! Praise be to God, All the Glory belongs to Jesus!!!!!

Our revival has been wonderful this week! Tonight brother Time Booth preached a great message on you can’t serve two masters. Then a family that I used to go to church with showed up tonight. Then the young people sang! It was such a blessing!
